pirouette title

Pirouettes! These have been the most difficult for me, and I wonder sometimes if I will ever do a decent pirouette. So I am going to put in the prepatory steps in executing a beautiful pirouette, that is if you practice, practice, practice!

This animation is of a Fouette En Dehors.
Fouette

Exercise for "Pirouette en Dehors"
This pirouette turns outwards away from the supporting leg (en dehors)

1. Begin in fifth position, arms in first
2. Degage the back leg to the side and open the arms to second.

Pirouette#1

3. Bring the leg back to fifth position, in front, knees bent,
(en fondu) and at the same time take arms into third position
4. Retire the front leg, bringing the arm in to first, and turn,
keeping eyes in front for as long as possible
